Key Job Elements: 
• Maintain safe work practices
• Conduct training for both Operators and Maintainers on all GDLS-C chassis and turret product lines for both internal and external customers.
• Conduct the Analysis, Design, Development and Maintenance of training material for all training, both operator and maintainer, associated with GDLS-C product lines.
• Extensive travel to military locations throughout the world including the Middle East.
• Instructs and operates military vehicles and equipment in a training or testing role.
• Ensure proper documentation and updates are completed for: Training Bulletins, site reports, and Training Development Packages.
• Ability to work within given schedules and budgets and provide data to assist in the monitoring of project budget and status.
• Liaise and communicate with internal and external organizations on training related matters.
• Attend meetings with internal and external Customers as required
• Maintains compliance with ISO procedures, GDLS policies, regulatory requirements (ITAR) and Safety policies.
• When required be the lead trainer, provide team leadership, instruct, monitor and advise trainers on site.
 
 
Required Qualifications:
• University degree or College diploma or Equivalent Military Certification.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years previous instructional experience.
• Minimum 3 years previous experience in the operation and maintenance of armored vehicles for Land Combat Arms.
• Ability to develop Lesson and Courseware Packages using the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
• Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated strength in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to travel throughout the world and work in extreme environmental conditions.
• Experience working with teams and/or customers.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation. 
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Canadian Firearms Restricted Possession and Acquisition License (PAL). 
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the job and Anthropometric Size Requirements for confined space.
•Valid Driver’s License and ability to qualify for DZ license.
• Ability to work shift and/or altered work weeks if necessary.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
• Military (Land) QL 6A Qualified with LAV driving/driving instructor experience.
• Proficient with computer graphics software and data development software.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Military School or Unit as an Instructor or Standards Cell member.
• Qualification as a CF military instructor, TRADOC, or equivalent with experience as an Instructor in a CF or equivalent school or unit.
