Key Job Elements
  • Support management to formalize a DevOps faction to LEADS
  • Develop Courses of Action that include circumstances, facts and issues to create and maintain scalable solutions
  • Liaise with stakeholders on complex business solutions that require software implementation
  • Follow security best practices as identified by company directives and software requirements
  • Manage and track changes to software code of said applications using version management skills
  • Review and modify existing architecture across core and internal software applications
  • Lead data management initiatives
  • Develop testing plans for customer product development
  • Troubleshoot software design and implementation using automation testing skills
  • Manage risk elements for software implementation projects
  • Perform gap analyses and audit existing processes to optimize software development cycles and deliver flexible solutions
  • Support integration activities for core business applications
  • Use Agile methodologies to lead projects
  • Lead projects using existing collaboration platforms, guidance documents and departmental procedures
  • Liaise closely with special project teams to support communications, progress and status
  • Interface with the IT department as required to resolve issues 
 Required Qualifications
  • University Degree or College Diploma in DevOps, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • Experience with programming languages (.NET, NodeJS, HTML, Javascript, Python)
  • Experience with web-based development using web development stack and SQL development stack
  • Experience with agile and scrum methodologies
  • Experience with software tracking and IT project management tools, i.e. Atlassian products
  • Ability to assess project requirements and deliver IT solutions that aid continuously improvement initiatives
  • Ability to lead software and business process projects with complex dependencies
  • Highly effective planning, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated strong communication and collaboration skills (written, oral and presentation)
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
  • Possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport             
Preferred Qualifications
  • Self-directed and proactive in pursuing skills and educational development
  • Experience with DevOps relationships
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with XML development and XSL(T)
  • Business and process analysis experience
